Course Name: Free Jewelery course of embroidery techniques

Now it's time to create your own jewelry using embroidery techniques and learn different jewelry designs during the course period.

Jewelry design with embroidery techniques is a much appreciated activity in which everyone can participate. The feeling you get when you wear a piece of jewelry you created yourself is unique!

Embroidery is a timeless classic and any home is made more beautiful with embroidery as it is an appealing art. You can design, repair and recycle clothes with simpler embroidery techniques.

The points that you as a beginner will learn depend entirely on what you wish to do.

  The course content is adapted to both beginners and more experienced participants.

Preparation/ Materials

An approx. 3-hour meeting takes place on Wednesdays for 6 weeks, where you will learn to make bracelets, necklaces and embroidery buckles from Mouliné yarn, which are needed to embroider the motif.

Basic materials are free for participants.

You will freehand draw your design directly on the fabric with a pen that disappears without a trace in contact with water and then you will start designing on your own piece of jewelry.

This is a basic course and can be completed with several occasions where we make more advanced jewelry with Mouliné yarn and decorative jewelry materials.

We will teach you how to braid wide bracelets or necklaces with threads and small glass beads.

Circle leader:

Sevda Göcmez is a trained jewelry designer and embroidery designer. She makes jewelry such as necklaces/bracelets from decorative, modern materials and special jewelry designs. Sevda is active as an embroidery jewelry designer in Creative Women's project.
