Take part in the cozy course "calligraphy" by course leader Viktoria Rolinska and learn calligraphy!
Calligraphy as a word comes from the Greek "kalligraphie" which means fine writing, and describes the art form that is just that. Calligraphy has a long and fine history of hundreds of years, and a detailed technique. Calligraphy and English teacher Viktoria Rolinska will teach foreign-born women like herself to write calligraphy. Rolinska will teach you in the course to write calligraphy with old-fashioned brushes, make wax seals that were used in the Middle Ages, and create gift cards in envelopes. Through the course, available to everyone, you will be able to write calligraphy like a professional!

No prior knowledge is required for this course, everyone is welcome!

Preparation/ Materials

Lessons are held for approximately 2 hours every Friday, for four weeks.
The materials will be arranged by the circle leader, and you will learn to make various crafts that incorporate the art, such as gift cards, marriage vows and wax sealing. The cost of the course is SEK 300, and all materials are included in the price.

Circle leader:

​The inspirational circle leader is a teacher who has a deep passion for the fine art of calligraphy. She is from Ukraine and professionally writes calligraphy for orders such as wedding invitations, gift cards and marriage vows. She is in love with the art itself and learning and spreading the knowledge to others.
